What do I get my horse riding instructor and a barn owner for their birthday by tuesday!?
By admin on Mar. 1, 2010.
I need to get a birthday gift for my horse riding instructor (mostly dressage but also jumping) and the barn owner who is an alternative vet. They have everything!!! Their birthday’s are on tuesday! HELP!! (we have a tackshop nearby)
Maybe a dry erase board…[they're not expensive, and they are pretty much weatherproof.]
A great place to leave messages for people or a place to write down things you don’t want to forget…while you’re at the barn. That way, you don’t have to carry around a pen/pencil and paper…or just plain forget something.
Just a thought…

How about photos or a scrapbook?
You could do a pretty book, or blow a picture up and frame it.
You can do photos on coffee cups, bags, T-shirts, hats just about anything.
Candles, soap, expensive chocolate make a nice "spa day". Wrap it pretty and it’s a great gift.

Saddleries often sell horse-themed giftware so I’m sure if you go down to the saddlery you should be able to find something.
Now for some ideas, how about a wall clock with a horse on it for the barn owner or a horse picture frame? For the riding instructor, how about a nice dressage saddle blanket or a horse coffee mug?
Good Luck! =)

I would get the trainer either a nice new pin or some jewelry for showing. Or I would get her leg wraps or a gift card. Get her something you know she will use, or get her a gift card so she can get what she wants!
For the barn owner I would get something similar, either something she would use or a gift card so she could buy something she wants. Maybe a leather cleaning kit for her saddles and bridles. Or you could get her a new rake or broom if she needs it, or new brushes or something. Be creative! I hope this helps, and wish them a happy Birthday!
P.S. Are their birthdays on Tuesday, or is that just when your giving them their presents? Just wondering…. My birthday’s on Tuesday, so I was just curious! Have fun!

I’m a person who loves to give smartlic gifts to people. For my instructor I gave him a model horse you know one of those Breyers. He’s really big into black and white paints. On his B-day I put it in a stall and I asked him about the new horse. He was like "what new horse" So i showed him, it was still in a package and it had a bow on it. Its his perfect horse, you don’t have to clean up after it.
For the barn owner, see if you can get a sign, maybe one to go on their desk.
