Can I overdo a gift to my girlfriend for her horse?

I was going to get my girlfriend a gift for her horses birthday. I was thinking about getting her a gift card to the tack(sp?) shop she shops at, horse treats, and maybe bell boots. Is this over doing it or is it a good gift. I see how much he means to her and how she’s at the barn nearly everyday so it made me think this was a good idea.
Gift cards are REALLY nice! My late hubby when we were courting used to take me to my favorite tack shop (Broken Horn, Baldwin Park, CA) and spoil us! HeHeHeHe
