Christmas gift for friend with a horse?

I was wondering what I should get for my friend for Christmas. It should be horse related and under $20. She’s 16 yrs old so no Breyers. Also she has pretty much everything she needs for her horse, so the gift would be an extra type item. I already plan on giving horse treats for her horse on top of this gift.

Make her a little gift basket of things that she runs out of and goes through a lot of!
Get a medium sized box and fill it with things like
~fly spray
~mane and tail detangler/conditioner
~show sheen
~horse treats
~braiding bands
~horse shampoo/conditioner
~maybe a small bottle of lotion and some lip balm (horse people really need this in the cold of winter and heat of summer!!)
Just fill up the box and wrap it! Then you have a great little gift and she will actually be able to use it!

Welcome back to my new Let’s Play called STRANDED! in Minecraft 1.8! To make the game more interesting, I’ve made a rule that that only place I can make and use a bed is within abandoned NPC villages! Today I continue exploring the ravines and abandoned mine shafts that previously caused me a slight case of death.

What does the phrase "never look a gift horse in the mouth" actually mean?

When horses were actually an important part of every day life you would never buy a horse without first prying open its mouth and checking its teeth for rot, excessive wear, etc. The instruction "not to look a gift horse in the mouth" is as if to say, if it’s a gift (free) you can’t complain about what you get. Of course, it definately shows you how much the giver thinks about you! LOL Hope this helped you, and have a great day.

Mose Giganticus – “The Left Path” (PopMatters Premiere)

One-person groups are not uncommon in metal, but the majority of them play either atmospheric black metal or drone-doom. Philadelphia’s Matt Garfield shirked that trend when he started Mose Giganticus in 1999 as a synthpunk outfit. The project only started gaining momentum in 2005, but it was worth the wait. Debut album The Invisible Hand the follow-up EP Commander! showed a lot of promise for Garfield, eventually leading to a contract with Relapse Records. The sophomore full-length album Gift Horse came out on July 20th, displaying a much heavier sound alongside intelligent, concept-based lyrics. Mose Giganticus (which includes touring members Kylewilliam Campol on guitar and Dan Eppihimer on drums) has the catchiness of Fu Manchu and Murder 1 combined with the heavy groove of The Sword and Seemless, with a dash of tasteful synth effects added to the mix. “The Left Path” shows off the band’s style perfectly, while illustrating their memory of their roots playing basement shows and house parties. — Chris Colgan
